Mail flow resumes for Guam and CNMI

After weeks of uncertainty over shipping disruptions, residents in Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands are being reassured that mail and packages will continue to move.
The United States Postal Service confirms that mail sent from Guam and the CNMI to the 50 states will be accepted, transported, and delivered. USPS says it has partnered with a third-party qualified by Customs and Border Protection to ensure duties are paid under the recent de minimis executive order.
USPS strategic communications specialist John Hyatt adds that shipments sent from the 50 states, Puerto Rico, and Washington, DC to US territories remain unchanged.
At the same time, federal agencies report that operational adjustments are underway to restore outbound shipments, with Customs and Border Protection finalizing logistics and enforcement protocols.
Local leaders, including Congressman James Moylan, say they will continue to monitor the situation and push for equitable, long-term service.
