Guam Memorial Hospital Authority CEO to retire on September 30

The Guam Memorial Hospital Authority has announced the upcoming retirement of Hospital Administrator and CEO Lillian Perez Posadas, effective Sept. 30.
Posadas has led GMH since 2019, guiding the island’s only public hospital through financial challenges, aging facilities, and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Board Chair Sharon Davis praised Posadas for her unwavering commitment to healthcare excellence and her steady leadership during some of GMH’s most difficult times.
The Board of Trustees is actively searching for her successor and is expected to appoint an interim CEO at its Sept. 24 meeting to ensure a smooth transition.
The board says the selection process for a new CEO will focus on finding a leader who can build upon the strong foundation established under Posadas’ tenure.
