Tanom Camacho and Ella Pangelinan take the win at the Guam Triathlon Federation’s Kids Triathlon

The Guam Triathlon Federation hosted its Kids Triathlon on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2025, an exciting event showcasing the energy, endurance, and spirit of Guam’s young athletes.
The triathlon brought together youth ages 8 through 15, giving them the opportunity to test their endurance and embrace the fun of multi-sport competition.
The event featured a 200 meter open water swim, 8K bike, and 1.5K run course designed to challenge participants while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Families and spectators gathered along the course to cheer on competitors, creating an atmosphere of encouragement at Hoover Park in Piti, formerly known as USO.
Congratulations are in order for the overall winners in the Boys and Girls divisions:
- Tanom Camacho, 12 yrs, 1st Place Male with a time of 28:20
- Blake Whitaker, 13 yrs, 2nd Place Male, 29:38
- Matua Camacho, 10 yrs, 3rd Place Male, 33:15
- Ella Pangelinan, 12 yrs, 1st Place Female, 36:13
- Lyndon Fulkerson-Smith, 12 yrs, 2nd Place Female, 39:31
- Teagan Johnston, 9 yrs, 3rd Place Female, 39:35
