The Guam Police Department is investigating a fatal auto-motorcycle crash that occurred Sunday night, Aug. 31, along Route 2 by the Hagat Marina.

The motorcyclist has been identified as 37-year-old Jeremy James Nededog. His next of kin has been notified. This marks Guam’s 15th traffic fatality for the year.

Preliminary findings indicate the crash happened when a vehicle, operated by an adult female, was exiting the Agat Marina and attempting to turn north onto Route 2. Nededog, who was traveling southbound on his motorcycle, collided with the vehicle.

CPR was performed at the scene, but Nededog was pronounced dead at 8:46 p.m. by a Guam Memorial Hospital ER physician.

The case remains open and has been forwarded to the Guam Highway Patrol Division. GPD extended condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Nededog.
