Guam defense forum to bring together military leaders, policymakers, and community stakeholders

The Guam Defense Forum is set for Sept. 17 and 18 at the Dusit Thani Hotel.
The two-day event will bring together defense leaders, policymakers, and community stakeholders to discuss regional security, civil-military relations, and Guam's strategic role in the Indo-Pacific.
Keynote speakers include Admiral Samuel Paparo, Commander of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, and Assistant Secretary of Defense Dale Marks.
The forum aims to strengthen partnerships that promote regional stability while addressing local priorities, from infrastructure and disaster response to cyber threats and community resilience.
The community defense liaison office has also launched its new website, cdlo.guam.gov, as a resource for information on defense initiatives and public engagement.
