Subway launches new hot honey sauce

A new condiment is turning up the heat on the food scene.
A combination of sweet and spicy! Foodies know it as hot honey sauce. And now, it’s making a sticky sweet debut where you can eat fresh: At Subway.
“The honey is sweet, it’s got the spicy, it’s got the cayenne peppers, oregano, garlic, mixed in so when you taste it, it’s a really, really unique flavor,” said Marcos Fong, Group CEO of Subway.
That unique flavor showcased on two new chef-crafted sandwiches for a limited time, the hot honey chicken: With a bold duo of hot honey sauce and creamy siracha, finished with sub-crunch and the hot honey pepperoni: with zesty pepperoni and creamy provolone.
And for those who want to try something different?
“One of the great things about Subway is that you can customize,” said Fong. “The hot honey can go on any sandwich.”
Or on any salad or wrap at no extra cost.
