Another Department of Corrections officer is behind bars tonight—marking the third arrest of a DOC officer in as many months.

Corrections Officer Brian Joon Yong Cha was arrested Wednesday on drug and misconduct charges and is now confined at the very facility where he once worked.

Earlier this month, another officer was arrested after allegedly assaulting a police officer outside a Tumon nightclub. And back in May, an officer was charged in a contraband smuggling scheme involving boxes of Raisinets.

The latest arrest deepens concerns about misconduct within the ranks of DOC.
