A woman already out on pre-trial release for a violent assault case is back behind bars, this time on drug charges.

Thirty-six-year-old Alaina Jeane Sablan was arrested after park police pulled over a car with no license plates. Officers say Sablan appeared nervous, then admitted she had marijuana and a meth pipe. A search of the vehicle turned up a crown royal bag holding nine resealable bags of meth.

Sablan, who was charged last year in an aggravated assault case after allegedly throwing a glass vase at a man, is now facing a third-degree felony drug charge—made more serious because she was already on felony release.

She's being held on $5,000 cash bail, and if convicted, could face up to 28 years in prison.
