Guam Department of Labor warns of Facebook grant scam

The Guam Department of Labor is alerting residents about a scam circulating on Facebook, falsely claiming to offer “Department of Labor grants.” These posts are NOT from GDOL and are not connected to any legitimate government program.
Scammers are posing as government representatives, using the GDOL name or similar wording to appear credible. GDOL Director David Dell’Isola warns: “We do not offer any kind of individual grant assistance through Facebook.”
If you see these posts or are contacted directly, do not share personal information. Report suspicious activity to the Office of the Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division at 671-475-2720.
