UPDATE: Guam and CNMI upgraded to a Tsunami advisory

An 8.7 magnitude earthquake struck southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia. Based on current data, hazardous sea level fluctuations and strong ocean currents may impact Guam, Rota, Tinian, and Saipan.

These ocean conditions may be dangerous along beaches, harbors, and coastal waters.
Remain out of the water. Stay away from the shoreline, at least 100 feet inland and 50 feet up.

The District Court of Guam at 12:00 p.m. due to a tsunami advisory. The Court will reopen as soon as circumstances permit.
The Guam Power Authority and Guam Waterworks Authority, Hagåtña Julale Customer Service Offices will close at noon today, Wednesday, July 30, 2025 due
to a Tsunami Advisory issued by the Guam Offices of Homeland Security and Civil Defense.
