Southern Guam is under a flash flood warning until 4:30 p.m. due to heavy showers and thunderstorms. 1 to 2 inches of rain have already fallen, with an additional 2 to 4 inches expected.

Areas impacted include: Chalan Pago-Ordot, Yona, Agana Heights, Talofofo, Sinajana, Inarajan, Asan, Merizo, Piti, Santa Rita, and Umatac.

What you need to know:
– Avoid flooded roads and areas with standing water
– Slow down and use caution if driving
– Do not attempt to walk or drive through floodwaters
– Stay away from rivers, streams, and low-lying areas
