A man charged with molesting a 9-year-old girl could be deported under a plea deal currently being prepared. Prosecutors revealed that Red Rino Chutaro - also known as Redley Puas and Redley Rino - is expected to enter a deportation plea in connection to a second-degree criminal sexual conduct case. He's accused of inappropriately touching a child while she slept in her home back in May.

The 37-year-old appeared before Judge Alberto Tolentino on Wednesday, where prosecutor christine tenorio confirmed Chutaro is on an ice detainer and that a deportation deal is being finalized, pending confirmation from the victim’s family.

Chutaro remains in custody, and the court made it clear that any plea agreement must first be approved by the judge.

A follow-up hearing is set for November 12.
