The violent altercation in dededo's mangga court earlier this month has now led to nine arrests—including the victim who was shot. Guam Police confirm three more people were taken into custody monday: Jerome Santos, Terry Cabrera and Cassandra Mendiola—all now facing aggravated assault and rioting charges.

They’re accused of fighting with Christian Gatchalian, the suspect who allegedly fired a stolen gun on July 8—shooting Santos in the process.

Gatchalian—arrested last week—is facing a stack of felony charges, including attempted murder.he told police he was attacked by multiple people, pulled the trigger while pinned to the ground, and admitted the gun used was also linked to a previous shooting.

The victim survived a gunshot to the neck and underwent emergency surgery.

This case is still very much active—and GPD says more arrests could follow.
