In a major drug and theft investigation, five individuals are facing serious charges following a search warrant executed by Guam police in Dededo on June 30.

Criminal investigations division detectives had been following up on a string of theft complaints when their leads took them to a Dededo residence, what they found inside went far beyond stolen property.

Officers recovered over 9 grams of methamphetamine split between two rooms, nearly $550 in cash, drug paraphernalia with visible residue, and what’s believed to be “tawas,” a cutting agent often used to stretch illegal substances.

Also found at the scene were stolen items tied to multiple open cases.

Three individuals: Darwin Papa Savella, Melissa Mad Lin, and Maria Delores Cruz Lorenzo were arrested, booked, and are now behind bars at the Department of Corrections.

Two others, Danny and Randy Valencia, identified as overstay workers, were turned over to Homeland Security investigations.

All five face multiple felony charges including illegal possession and distribution of controlled substances. The case is now in the hands of the Attorney General’s Office.
