Acting Governor Tenorio calls on Guam to send 100k postcards for WWII Hero Frank Wright’s 100th birthday

He helped liberate Guam and now, Acting Governor Josh Tenorio is asking the people of Guam to help honor him.
Frank S. Wright, one of the last surviving World War II Marine Raiders and a hero of Guam’s liberation, is turning 100 years old this July 5th.
His one wish? To receive 100,000 postcards.
Wright bravely fought in historic battles across the Pacific, including Guadalcanal, Iwo Jima, and Guam, and returned to the island last year for our 80th Liberation Anniversary.
Tenorio is encouraging students, veterans, families, and artists to join in sending messages of thanks and love.
Let’s come together to show Frank Wright that Guam remembers, and celebrates, his courage, sacrifice, and century of life.
