23rd Annual Red Ball heme: “The Power of Humanity”

The wheels are in motion for the 23rd Annual American Red Cross Red Ball.
Chairperson Ed Untalan has unveiled this year’s theme: “The Power of Humanity.”
It’s a tribute to the community’s generosity after Typhoon Mawar, a disaster that marked the island and shifted the Red Cross’s services as the organization provided 397,000 meals and snacks to our people.
The Red Ball helps ensure critical work like this can continue.
“It’s that power that will dive into the hearts of people to make them say, ‘I want to help–I want to give,’” said Untalan.
Meanwhile, American Red Cross Guam Chapter CEO Chita Blaise says the goal is to raise a net of $222,000
The Red Ball is set for Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Hyatt Regency Guam. Tickets will be available soon, stay tuned to KUAM for updates.
