Senators could vote on major measures from tax transparency to SNAP access

After weeks of public hearings, a whole week of debate, and moving bills forward, senators are finally voting on key measures to impact your everyday. At 5pm tonight they are scheduled to commence with casting their votes on significant pieces of legislation.
Proposed legislation include Bill 78, which would include the restaurant meals program under SNAP; Bill 33, aiming to expand the elements for first- and second-degree criminal sexual conduct; Bill 27, the "Hearing Protection Act of 2025", to legalize the ownership, possession, and use of firearm suppressors on Guam; and Bill 59, requiring the itemization of Business Privilege Tax on all sales receipts, invoices and other documentation provided to customers, to be known as the “Business Privilege Tax Transparency Act of 2025.”
