Congressman James Moylan has submitted over 400 appropriations requests to secure federal funding for Guam in the 2026 Fiscal Year.

The requests target key programs such as funding for the community development block grant, which supports housing needs, the Guam Memorial Hospital's TEFRA rate adjustment study, and $750 million for the Port of Guam’s critical infrastructure improvements.

The Congressman said, “These requests reflect the input of our community and our commitment to ensure that Guam is not left behind. From healthcare and education to military readiness and economic growth, our office is pushing for strategic federal funding that uplifts the people of Guam and strengthens our role in the region.”

He credits collaboration with local agencies and lawmakers for the robust submissions, adding that his office will continue to ensure Guam's needs are front and center in Washington, D.C.
