Delegate James Moylan is pushing for stronger support of Guam's 360-degree missile defense system following a new report from the Government Accountability Office.

The GAO found the $8 billion Guam Defense System still lacks key planning elements, like a clear troop count and long-term construction strategy.

In response, Moylan submitted report language to Congress urging the Department of Defense to address the gaps. In a release, he says “The safety and security of our island remains one of my top priorities."

He's also working with the Guam Power Authority to ensure the island’s energy needs are met as the military build-up continues adding by working together, we can identify potential partnerships between dod and gpa that will benefit residents both inside and outside the fence.
