Traffic stop leads to drug possession charges

Driving without a license plate lands a man and woman with drug possession charges. 56-year-old Michael Wayne Rasmussen is charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance as a third-degree felony, and operation of a motor vehicle without a valid operator’s license, operation of a vehicle without a valid registration, and having no license plate as violations.
35-year-old Stacey Regina Sablan Reyes is charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance. Court documents state Guam Police officers conducted a traffic stop on a Toyota Corolla for having no license plate.
Rasmussen told police he did not have his license or registration on him. ‘ When a consented search of the car was made, a baggie with suspected burnt meth residue and a pipe were found. Both items tested presumptive positive for methamphetamine.
