It was a week of heartfelt farewells for two public schools that have educated generations. Last Monday, the Angels of Lyndon B. Johnson Elementary held a decommissioning ceremony, a fitting tribute to their beloved campus, built in the early 1970s.

The celebration was filled with music, emotion, and even special fluffy keepsakes for students to cherish. The school community coming together to honor the many years lbj has served students, faculty, staff, and families alike.

Now, a new chapter begins. The Angels will join the Whales, as LBJ students transition to their new home at Tamuning Elementary.
