Guam Regional Transit Authority issues scam warning over false “smart pass” ad

The Guam Regional Transit Authority is warning the public about a false advertisement making the rounds on social media.
The post was made about a day ago by the account “guam public transport”, claiming GRTA is offering a “smart pass” equipped with three free months of transportation.
However, GRTA officials said the ad is a scam.
They emphasize that all official GRTA announcements are shared exclusively through their website and Facebook page.
Anyone who sees suspicious or false content is urged to report them to the Mariana Regional Fusion Center or contact GRTA directly.
