Thursday was the deadline for Guam Department of Education Superintendent, Dr. Kenneth Swanson, to provide a detailed response to the Guam Education Board.

GEB member Dr. Judi Guthertz made a motion requesting a written progress report from Swanson on concerns brought to him by the board back in April.

As KUAM previously reported, the GEB approved a list of charges against the superintendent, which have yet to be disclosed.

GEB Chair Angel Sablan told KUAM the board will discuss Swanson's most recent response in their meeting next Tuesday during executive session.

Swanson's evaluation is slated for June 30.
