Applicants sought for Governor’s Summer Youth Employment Program

Are you between the ages of 15 and 17, looking to make your summer count? Well, listen up, Guam! The Department of Youth Affairs is rolling out the red carpet for tomorrow’s leaders with the 2025 Governor’s Summer Youth Employment Program.
Starting today through May 9, swing by your nearest youth resource center in Dededo, Mangilao, or Hagat to pick up your application. Just a heads-up—these forms won’t be online, so you’ve got to get them in person!
From answering phones to maintaining buildings, this is your chance to get real-world experience in public service—and yes, it pays! We're talking $10 an hour, 30 hours a week, for 6 weeks!
Once you’ve picked up your app, return it between May 12 and 16th to the same center. Make sure to bring a photo ID, your parent’s ID, and your Social Security Card copy.
The program kicks off June 9 and runs through July 18 —and it’s more than just a paycheck. It’s confidence, skills, and a front-row seat to how our island runs.
