The island way of Inafa Mao'lek - supporting our neighbors – continues to be demonstrated with Guam's private sector, as exhibits of good corporate citizenship are not only providing help, but encouraging and inspiring others to do the same.

FIRST, our friends at GTA rallied their staff and collected over 300 articles of clothing suitable for business to support females in need. The collected threads were so plentiful, the telecomm company made TWO donations - to the Salvation Army women's center and to Man'elu. The clothing helps women transitioning into the workforce for Women's History Month. well done, GTA!

Next, Humanities Guahan is $10,000 more enabled to continue it's programs, thanks to the generosity of Matson Navigation. The shipping company stepped-in with an assist in order to maintain the preservation of culture, the arts and uplifting storytelling by the local creative community. Matson's coming up on its 30-year anniversary and has long been a supporter of community initiatives like this.

Congratulations to the recipients nd si yu'os ma'ase to business partners for lending a hand, and making us proud to be from Guam.
