A new bill, Bill No. 11-38, could roll back Guam's Business Privilege Tax from 5% to 4%, a potential relief for families and small businesses facing economic strain.

Senator Dueñas said the time for talk is over, it’s time for action.

The hearing is set for June 9, and it follows a wave of tax reform proposals, from transparency on receipts to tax breaks on baby formula and prescription drugs.

Senator Dueñas said it’s time to stop dancing around the elephant in the room and start making tough decisions. “Everyone has something at stake,” he says, “So everyone deserves a seat at the table.”
