Congressman James Moylan is advocating for a Veterans Affairs Regional Office to be established right here on Guam.

In a letter to VA Secretary Doug Collins, Moylan urged the relocation of the regional office from Manila to Guam, citing Guam's strategic location and history of service.

Moylan said Guam and its government are ready to provide the resources needed to make the move happen.

The initiative is also backed by Governor Lou Leon Guerrero and Lt. Governor Josh Tenorio, who voiced their support in a separate letter to the secretary.

Moylan said the move could revolutionize access to VA services for veterans across the Pacific and Asia.
