A man is behind bars, accused of forcing his way into a Tamuning apartment and assaulting two women inside.

According to a magistrate’s complaint filed in Superior Court, 32-year-old Ceasar R. Bautista is facing charges of second-degree burglary, family violence, and assault.

Police say the incident began Sunday morning, when a woman known to Bautista—noticed him near her apartment complex. She later saw him again at a nearby coffee shop, where she told him to leave her alone.

But later that night, she says Bautista showed up at her door. When she tried to shut him out, he forced his way in, grabbed her by the hair, slammed her head against the wall twice, and punched her.

Her roommate tried to help, but was also punched multiple times, knocking her to the ground. Another woman at the scene called police, and Bautista was arrested soon after.
