The Guam Department of Public Health and Social Services and the Guam Department of Education's HeadStart program are teaming up to maike it easier for families to get the help they need.

Special events are being held at the Northern and Southern Regional Community Health Clinics, where parents can sign up their children for HeadStart and get free lead testing.

HeadStart enrollment and testing will be available in Dededo and Inarajan on select dates through June.

Parents and guardians will need to bring proper documents, including IDs, birth certificates and income verification.

Locations and Dates:
NRCHC, 8:30am-3:30pm (Dededo)

April 21 through May 15,
May 26 through June 26

SRCHC, 8:30am-3:30pm Monday to Thursday (Inarajan)

May 12 to May 15 and June 9 to June 12

At these events, families can:
•     Sign up their children for the Head Start program
•     Get free lead testing for all Head Start children
•     Get Medicaid-covered lead testing for other community members
