It’s been five days since USS Nimitz Sailor Gabriel D. Holt was reported missing.

As KUAM previously reported, Holt was last seen in the area between Hotel Nikko and Gun Beach in Tumon.

The USS Nimitz Carrier Strike Group has since departed Guam, while the search for Holt remains active.

Meanwhile, weeks have passed since a decomposing body was discovered at Anigua Beach.

Guam's Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Kenny Su, confirmed to KUAM that the victim has been identified and that he determined both the cause and manner of death on the same day an autopsy was performed. However, authorities have yet to release those details publicly.

In a separate case, the investigation continues into a woman who fell to her death at Guam Memorial Hospital. Dr. Su confirmed her cause of death is consistent with a fall, but toxicology results are still pending.
