Dr. Ugochukwu Akoma cleared of criminal charges in local court

A local doctor once accused of molesting his patient can no longer be prosecuted on the same allegations. 

Superior Court Judge Alberto Tolentino dismissing the misdemeanor criminal sexual conduct charges against Dr. Ugochukwu Akoma with prejudice. 

Prosecutors argued for the case to dismissed without prejudice after previously admitting criminal sexual conduct charges are the hardest to try before a jury. 

The judge denied that request.
