A registered sex offender from Wisconsin is brought to Guam and is in federal custody after failing to notify authorities he was traveling to the region.

Thirty-eight-year-old Kyle Deurs faces charges of being a sex offender registrant who failed to report international travel.

Court documents filed in the District Court of Guam state Derus flew from Guam to the Philippines and Palau last month.

His passport was revoked after he returned to the island on March 1.
