Guam Delegate James Moylan is calling for sweeping changes to the Department of Veterans Affairs to improve care for veterans in Guam and the Pacific.

In a letter to VA Secretary Collins, Moylan outlined serious issues, including leadership failures, unqualified providers, and delayed payments to specialty care providers, all of which have impacted veterans’ health services.

He also criticized the current administrative structure, saying decisions made from Hawaii overlook the needs of Guam's growing veteran population.

Moylan is urging the VA to establish a new regional healthcare system and state director position in Guam, shifting the focus closer to where veterans need it most.
