The Guam Memorial Hospital Authority has welcomed a new member to its Board of Trustees, bringing a wealth of experience to the team.

Suzanne Lobaton, a doctor of nursing practice and certified occupational health nurse, has been appointed as the nursing board representative for a six-year term.

Lobaton brings over 16 years of nursing experience, including 13 years at the U.S. Naval Hospital as an Occupational Health Nurse Supervisor.

She recently earned her doctorate from Johns Hopkins University and has also served as a teacher at Simon Sanchez High School and a nursing instructor at the University of Guam.

GMH Administrator Lillian Perez-Posadas said Lobaton’s background will be invaluable in enhancing healthcare services for Guam's community.

Lobaton said she is honored to serve in this role and is committed to improving the health and well-being of the People of Guam.

GMH is still working to fill its remaining trustee position, representing the Allied Health profession.
