Throughout the month of October, the Westin Resort Guam pledged to donate $2 for each Starbucks pink drink sold.

The campaign resulted in 574 drinks purchased. 

The hotel collected a total of $1,148, which was donated to Guam Cancer Care. 

The organization offers services to more than one thousand active cancer patients on the island. As we reported, they faced financial hardships due to a delay in securing funding. 

So, officials with the Westin Resort Guam were thrilled with the overwhelming response to their Starbucks pink drink promotion.

Abner Acosta, General Manager at the Westin said, “We are grateful for the community’s support in contributing to Guam Cancer Care,” adding, “This initiative is just one example of our ongoing efforts to align with marriott internationals spirit to serve initiatives and make a positive impact to the communities we serve.”
