The body of a 24-year-old fisherman reported missing at Family Beach on Saturday has been located.

According to Guam Fire Department spoke spokesperson Lt. Nick Garrido, rescue divers found him 50-feet below the surface just before 8 am Sunday.

A GFD vessel brought his body to the Hagatña Marina before taking him to the Guam Memorial Hospital.

He has not yet been identified.

The search started around 5 pm Saturday and included first responders with the U.S. Coast Guard Sector Guam, the Navy's HSC-25 and police with the Port Authority of Guam.

Officers with the Guam Police Department also responded to the scene to investigate.

Meantime, the Guam National Weather Service reports dangerous rip currents for east facing reefs of the Marianas through Monday night.

Lt. Garrido reminds to the community to adhere to the hazardous surf and sea warnings.
