Residents of Guam and the Marianas won’t have a direct say in the U.S. Presidential elections, but decisions made in Washington still impact the islands.

With Donald Trump’s return to the White House, many are questioning what his policies could mean for the region.

This Saturday, Nov. 23, Independent Guåhan is hosting a “Trump teach-in” at the Guam Museum Theater from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

The event will explore Trump's impact on issues like decolonization, militarization, climate change, reproductive rights, and more.

Featuring presentations and resource tables, the teach-in invites the community to discuss how the President's actions might affect those in the territories.

The event is free and open to the public.
