More bad weather is expected as the National Weather Service monitors a developing tropical disturbance off of Chuuk. 

Officials said there's a possibility of 98W pushing through the Marianas sometime Friday. 

The Joint Typhoon Warning Center has raised 98W’s potential for development into a significant tropical cyclone to medium, meaning development is expected. 

Conditions are predicted to include winds exceeding 30 miles per hour, heavy rainfall, potential flash flooding, and hazardous surf conditions.
