Preventive Maintenance Outage scheduled in Pago Bay

The Guam Power Authority is conducting another preventive maintenance outage in Chalan Pago for six hours on Friday, Oct. 25, 2024. 

Affecting Pago Bay Estates and the surrounding areas, the outage is set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

GPA makes system improvements and conducts preventive maintenance to avoid future power outages. 

While the job can be done with no impact to customers, sometimes the power needs to be shut off in order for the crews to work safely. 

GPA is committed to keeping our customers and employees safe and we will turn the power back on as soon as we can.

If you have a generator, make sure your main breaker is in the open position for the safety of our line crew.

Have a plan for alternate power source for electrical medical equipment and charge all cell phones.

Minimize opening refrigerator and freezer doors during the outage.
