Child molester gets 10 years

Ten years in prison.

That’s how long Jimmy Manibusan will have to spend locked up after being convicted of sexually molesting three young girls.

The incidents occurred back in 2018 and 2020.

He’s since pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct.

But, Manibusan was able to walk free from Superior Court Judge John Terlaje’s courtroom Friday.

The judge granting his request to self-surrender in one week despite the victims family opposing it saying they’ve suffered long enough.

Manibusan will also have to register as a level-one sex offender.

He was ordered to stay away from the victims.

Now, following the sentencing, one of the victim's told KUAM justice was served, advising others who may be going through similar abuse: don't be afraid to speak up.
