The Guam Memorial Hospital Authority has been recognized for its success in improving the quality and safety of healthcare. GMH recently received a Bronze Medal Award from health quality innovators through the Health Quality Improvement Contractors Recognition Program.

It honors the hospital's commitment to quality improvement, providing person-centered and equitable care and producing better health outcomes despite the challenges the past four years.

Hospital administrator Lillian Perez-Posadas says “We’re very excited and grateful to be recognized for our dedicated work in the HQIC program”.

She added, “This award highlights the commitment of our incredible team of people at GMH who work fervently to improve the health, safety, and wellness of patients we serve in this community.”
