The Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike group made a logistics stop in Guam today, bringing supplies and equipment to support ongoing operations.

The carrier strike group arrived at Apra Harbor for a scheduled visit, the first since February of this year.

Guam plays a critical role in providing logistics support to the U.S. naval vessels, including maintenance parts, supplies, and equipment.

Sailors from the strike group, which includes the USS Theodore Roosevelt, USS Daniel Inouye, and USS Russell, will also have access to base amenities during their time in port.

The group has been operating in the U.S. 5th and 7th fleet areas since January as part of a routine deployment.
