Navy sailor gets nearly six years in child pornography case

A Navy sailor who admitted to posting hundreds of child pornography images online was sentenced to five years and 11 months in federal prison.
Defendant Andrew Taylor Wood recently learned his fate in the District Court of Guam .
He has since pleaded guilty to transportation of child pornography.
Court documents state Wood was caught with hundreds of videos of children engaged in explicit activity.
The feds found the disturbing images in more than a dozen electronic devices.
He was ordered to pay $86,500 in restitution, and will also serve eight years' supervised release.
