The Guam Regional Medical City just announced the recent launch of the Patient Meal Selective Menu Pilot program, allowing qualified patients on regular diets to choose from a variety of entrée options for their lunch and dinner meals.

Currently, the selective menu is available to patients on regular diets only, at both lunch and dinner, with breakfast options planned for future phases of the program. This pilot program offers patients more control over their meal preferences.

Patients on therapeutic diets, such as Cardiac, Diabetic, or Renal diets, are not included in this initial phase, ensuring that their meals meet specific nutritional and medical requirements.

“We are constantly finding ways to improve the ‘Patient Experience.’ We’re hoping that with the new implementation of this program, our patients feel a better sense of comfort during their stay with us,” said James Bush, GRMC’s Program Manager-GFS Group/GRMC Food Services.

This new process is part of GRMC’s ongoing efforts to enhance patient experience.
