Early voting for northern islands starts September 21

The first votes in the Northern Marianas midterm election will soon be cast.

Early voting for the northern islands will commence from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from Sept. 21 to Oct. 17 at the Commonwealth Election Commission Office in Susupe on Saipan and from Oct. 18 to Nov. 4 at the multi-purpose center in Susupe. 

The CEC reminds voters to bring a photo I.D. to be issued a ballot at the polls.

CEC Executive Director Kayla Igitol told KUAM News that there are 186 registered voters from the northern islands.
