CNMI police are searching for two people behind two burglaries and theft incidents reported over the weekend.
The first incident happened at the WIC Admin Office on Navy Hill. Early that morning, two people captured in surveillance footage were seen removing tires from a pickup truck in the parking lot.
Officers who arrived at the scene within minutes found the truck with all four tires gone. They eventually found two of the tires in a nearby jungle area while searching for the suspects.
The second incident happened that same morning at the CTSI Storage facility along Industrial Drive in Puerto Rico. One heavy equipment truck battery was stolen.
“Suspects were described as a female wearing black shirt, black pants and a black hat, and the other being a male with no shirt and using only camouflage short pants,” according to a CNMI DPS press release.
The case remains under investigation and police believe both incidents were committed by the same people.
