Following a series of Public Health sanitary inspections for Guam Department of Education public schools, Ordot-Chalan Pago Elementary School is the latest to successfully pass inspection.

Receiving a total of 38 demerits, equating to a "C" grade, the school was able to welcome students back on Aug. 16.

The efforts of Principal Tricia Moylan and her team in ensuring the school passed sanitation inspections have been recognized by Superintendent Dr. Erik Swanson.

“Their resilience and dedication have been crucial in creating a safe environment for students to return to. This achievement not only reflects the team's commitment to health and safety standards but also their dedication to the well-being of the students. The successful passing of these inspections is a testament to the hard work and meticulous planning by the school's staff, and it's indeed a moment of pride and celebration for the entire community,” said Swanson.

Principal Moylan expressed her gratitude for those involved with getting the school up to passing standards, promising to uphold these standards to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment.
