Guam Community College’s Ship Repair Bootcamp celebrates 19 completers

Guam Community College will celebrate the 19 completers of its most recent Ship Repair Bootcamp.

A completion ceremony will take place on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2024 at 4 p.m. in the Learning Resource Center (Building 6000).

The Ship Repair XII Bootcamp started on June 14, 2024 and have completed their hands-on and in-classroom training in Auto Body Paint (Paint Preservation) and Intro to Diesel Technology & Preventative Maintenance I. 

Additional training and certification in Heartsaver First Aid, CPR & AED, WorkKeys, Work Ethics, and OSHA 10 were also successfully completed.

This bootcamp employer sponsor, Cabras Marine Corporation, has offered all 19 successful completers a job with their company.
