Guam Power Authority launches My Energy Xpert for local consumers

The Guam Power Authority is excited to announce the launch of its new online home energy assessment tool, the My Energy Xpert or MEX.

This new tool provides residential customers with a free, fast, and easy way to perform an energy efficiency evaluation, complete with customized recommendations to help you save on energy costs.

“My Energy Xpert underscores GPA's commitment towards providing residential customers with resources to improve their energy-efficiency at home and provide cost savings on their power bills,” said GPA General Manager John M. Benavente.

My Energy Xpert complements existing GPA initiatives such as the My Energy Guam program, the Energy Star rebate program, and the Beat the Peak campaign, along with energy-saving tips provided to the community. 

My Energy Xpert represents the latest addition to GPA’s Energy Sense Program toolkit.

 “GPA is working with key partners, including the University of Guam, Guam Community College, and the Guam Energy Office. GPA provides training on the use of the home energy assessment tool to promote energy efficiency in line with our partners’ programs. Our partners share GPA’s vision of encouraging GPA customer energy efficiency to reduce their energy consumption, power bills, and carbon footprint,” GPA Assistant General Manager of Engineering and Technical Services, John J. Cruz, Jr. said.
