Aydlett brothers announce next tower plans for Humanity Benefit project

The Aydlett Brothers and the Tower Team will break ground soon on their next toy timber construction project on Guam. Set to take place in the Center Court at Micronesia Mall, this project will be a scaled replica of New York City’s Empire State Building.
In what will be their largest and tallest toy timber structure to date, the tower will stand at an estimated 29 feet, using approximately 95,000 individual toy timber logs.
This surpasses the double Guinness World Record-setting tower in June 2022, which stood at nearly 26 feet with 74,000 toy timber logs. The tower will also feature custom-made logs carved specifically for this construction.
Construction will begin at 10 a.m. on Aug. 1 with a target completion date of Aug. 8. Construction will be ongoing during mall hours, possibly after hours, depending on daily progress, as the Tower Team aims to have the marathon construction completed by the intended date of the 8th.
This tower will not seek to break the current world records, as the Aydlett Brothers remain the official record holders.
This is the 4th tower project since the Tower for Humanity’s began in June 2022 and is part of the events celebrating the Micronesia Mall’s 36th Anniversary.
Micronesia Mall will host a number of events on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024, featuring island VIPs, an anniversary ribbon cutting and lighting of the tower, as well as live entertainment through the afternoon.
The Aydlett Brothers are always eager to plan their next project, building something bigger, better and unique. Due to the scale and size of these projects, the brothers welcome the public to be a part of this unique, “only on Guam” experience.
For this event, the Tower Team has partnered with the Micronesia Mall to bring awareness and support to three of the mall’s partner charities: ALEE Shelter, Victim Advocates Reaching Out of Guam, and Harvest House.
